The SOAP webservice now returns an HTTP 503 response with a clear maintenance message during scheduled downtime, allowing connected systems to handle the maintenance window gracefully.

Why Does It Matter?

Without a meaningful response during downtime, connected systems had no way to distinguish maintenance from an outage, which could trigger unnecessary retry loops. A standard HTTP 503 response gives integrations the information they need to respond appropriately.
